Finish for Farrow and Ball on an MRMDF table top

I think I would need to dip my toes into cellulose paints for that type of finish. Tried a few other brands when I was tricked into doing our kitchen and not impressed. I have had my son reach out to @petermillard as he has been great helping out in the past.

Finish for Farrow and Ball on an MRMDF table top

Spraying MDF is not what I do, wood is my usual medium. However, this small table sells and I will be moving on to different paints and finishes in future. My question though is for help with this particular piece.

    Rod bending

I have need of quite a few plant stands and obelisks. I had a look at. the garden centre and decided that if possible I would make my own. I am reasonably handy but have no clue about buying or making jigs for bending the rod. I would like to be flexible regarding the curve size. Any advice...

My mistake, it is the AT254SB. The blade does not appear to wobble.

Table saw cutting up rough. - Axminster AT254SB

I noticed that the sawn edge was rough when cutting some oak draw sides. I decided not to be lazy and swapped out the Axcaliber cross cut blade for the Axcaliber rip blade to see if it changed anything. Having realigned my Axminster AT10 Table saw blades and fence. I still have a rough finish...

    Table saw alignment. Update.

I ended up buying the "UJK CIRCULAR SAW ALIGNING JIG". My 10 inch blade was 5 thousandths off from front to back and that was "closed" nearer to the fence. Doesn't seem a lot but I think that over a longish piece of wood, it could push the piece against the fence enough to pinch.

Is Festool the King of Dust?

My son is at Rycotewood Furniture School and they use the BOSCH GAS 35 M AFC. I bought one on his recommendation and I have to say there is seldom any dust at all from my track saw, Domino or router table.

    Festool Domino wont switch off.

As it says in the title. I do not use it too much. Still have 50% of the dominos it came with. Keep it clean. Any ideas?

    Table Saw Blade Alignment

I want to check my table saw blade is perfectly aligned and have looked at the tools to do this on the internet. They seem very expensive £69 for something I don't expect I will use more than once a year. Does anyone know where I can hire one from? What do you guys who are frugal like me do?

Anyone pleased or advice with a cheap planer thicknesser.

For a few years we ran with a Dewalt dw55. Uts an old one, green, blades are cheap on ebay and although a bit noisy is a good work horse. Only drawback is that there is no extraction. This is both planer (Jointer) and Thicknesser

    Inside The Factory

It was fine. I was not at first impressed with the jokes and general banalities but once I got past that, I found it interesting.

Careful who you let teach you (table saws again)

Width of the piece being cut. Mitre saw does not extend far enough. Some people don't have a mitre saw station or even a mitre saw. Radial Arm saws are considered the devil. There are many tools that do a similar job but generally we use the tools we have.
