Thanks for your suggestion Rodders, unfortunately neither Multico (now based in France), Scott and S nor Rondean have a manual for this machine, it's too old apparently. I'm holding out for someone who knows this model !

I could not identify asymmetric bushes in my machine. The lower rods link the planer base, through the lower end of pivot point, through the planer bed on each side. Nowhere can I see how to make any alteration in it's setting - the points where the rod passes through are all circular and fit...

I'll look in from underneath to see if I can remove the base brackets tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion Merlin, I'll let you know how it goes.
