    Bonus notches.

    I enjoy a good discussion about the hand saw notch as much as the next man... but looky here, here's a pair of notches the like I've not seen before. The saw is a Disston and the two notches appear to be neatly formed in among the teeth. Any idea what purpose these notches served ?
