    Eagles head

    Hi Back to work today, no scrolling for a few days :( Just thought I would share this one. An eagles head, cut in Elm (nice wood to work with) with oil finish. Thanks for looking, and thanks for the comments - kind of spurs you on!

    This is a small pen knife made from Ash and inlaid with Purple Heart, and with a simple oil finish, my first attempt at some inlay work. You can see a small "oversized" blade entry hole on the pic (how do you do that without it showing??) - but well pleased for a first effort - it even opens...

    Thanks for the comments. I use an SIP 01928 - would love to upgrade but that little thing called money always stops me! Blades used were FD-SR No 5.
