Can anyone offer advice on type of vice screw to use for leg vice. I am looking to use a hand wheel but not sure if can replace the end on vice screws. So can retro fit a hand wheel. Any thoughts or experience of doing this ?

I just bought one of these and the support arm isn't at 90 degrees stone so never can do straight blade. Is there any way to adjust this.

Cheers peeps, I thought of using a bolt but like you say they aint that common in left hand thread.

Hi guys, I have a record No5 bench plane and the blade adjuster screw has damaged threads and needs to be replaced. Can any of you kind soles advise where I can get a replacement sent out without extortionate postage costs. cheers Kev
