Thank you Tony I was building a garden shed but then i got a little carried away so i am going to put my big screen tv and a couch in there in the summer time. It has a great view from every angle. It has 6 roofs, 12 hips , 8 valleys and 15 windows.

Thank you Fecn I get a lot of my ideas looking at old buildings, churches and hotels . I do get customers that ask for one built to look like their home or cottage. I just got a order to build 10 more for 1 customer in the states.

I,m glad you asked :lol: I just finished painting the roof and the railing I used a green paint on the roof called hosta leaf , it is like a olive color.

Thanks Lord Nibbo That's a great idea I usually get my ideas from old buildings here in Canada but i never thought about going over sees. :lol: I really love the old buildings and structures the most. They have a lot more character. I will do a Google search and see what i can come up with...

Hi everyone Here is my latest monster :lol: This birdhouse is made from 70 yr old barn boards and stands 6 ft tall. I still have a few things to finish like the roof and steel railings. I will post a finished pic when it,s done.

Thank you everyone for all the very nice replies. I use a good size farm tractor to lift the birdhouses in place. It has no problem lifting these monster houses.

Thanks Loz_S ,I think :lol: and thank you Andrew I have had this first birdhouse up for almost three years and i have never had problems with birds dying in them , on them or around them. I get a lot of sparrows nesting in them and never had any problems. I hope i don,t have to bring out...

Hi everyone Spring is here and it,s great to be working back outside again. This is a birdhouse i started last year but it got put on the shelf until now. It is made from 120 year old reclaimed barn timber and has over 80 apartments.
