WIP Small hand tools workshop - flooring and insulation now

I just been through exactly the same process as you, debating the various options and in the end opted for a log cabin kit. I upgraded the base so it could sit on pier foundations instead of a concrete slab, put felt shingles on the roof and I've ended up with a 5m x 4m 44mm double glazed cabin...

    Advice wanted from cabinet makers

Warwickshire College at Leamington Spa also run a similar course. Depending upon previous experience, they quite often recommend to start with basics. Sharpening chisels and blades, setting up a plane before making a small frame by hand with different joints in each corner. After the first term...

    Help! Bike storage ideas needed...

The most efficient I have seen was wall mounted bike hangers. Basically hooks screwed into the wall that you hook the wheel round. By careful selection of the height of the hook then you can overlap the pedals and handlebars so 5 bikes do not take 5 bike widths of the wall. HTH

Those sheets with voids both sides will have equal pressure so will be stable as long as they don't crumble. The ones at the end only have the void on their inward facing side so will be pulled that way...

Where can I get parts for a kids trike/ bike?

You will need a bottom bracket to go between the two cranks. It is this that goes through the wheels.

Where can I get parts for a kids trike/ bike?

These would fit the bill. They are unicycle cranks as chunkolini suggested. http://www.oddballs.co.uk/steel-standar ... -3088.html

Where can I get parts for a kids trike/ bike?

If you were doing it professionally then you would want tandem cranks so that the threads go in the correct direction and the pedals don't unwind and fall off. However at this time I guess you would be able to get away with 2 bike left hand cranks and a bottom bracket. Examples from Halfords...

    Thin wood?

Drillbit, I'm only 15 miles away and you are more than welcome to come and use my planner/thicknesser. I quite often slice up 1" oak boards on my table saw and reduce them to 3-5mm. HTH Steve
