Anyone know where you can buy one of these or similar in the UK? http://www.hartvilletool.com/product/12750 I would rather not order from the states. I see one on the Hafele site but I do not have an account with them.

I've had all sorts including several Bosch, I am now on my second Makita as Colin C links to, I reckon it's the best I've ever had. Mine has a very hard life, all day every day, I never bother to get any repaired as I reckon it's more cost efficient to just buy a new one. I seem to remember it...

I have the ryobi & it's not bad if you as long as you don't expect it to cut what a 240v one will cut, fine for sheet material. I don't use it that much, main reason I bought it was to sit just inside the back door of the van so I could cut something quick without having to get an extension out...

I too have the Mafell & mine does not cut all the way through a 40mm worktop when using the guide, it does just without the guide, I was very annoyed as I understood it would cut the full 40mm when I bought it.

Yep, definatelly Mafell AD160, I reckon I got a great bargain as I have seen them priced at over £500, My local tool mart had it lying around for ages & I reckon they just wanted shot of it. Had a look on NMA site, not great pictures, I'm still not sure how it adapts/works, also, I'm not sure...

I recently bought one (brand new £200) & wondered about the tilting fence, I have searched the web & can only see a little picture & a price. I wondered if anyone who has one could tell me if it is worth it & if there is anywhere that has more detailed information about it & a decent picture...
