    whooo!! stripped the motor down and a wire had perished(earthed out) , replaced it and all working. Ain't I a lucky lad!!!

    I have been given a Woodmen KL 800 lathe but.... the motor keeps tripping the electrics within 1-2 seconds of starting. I can not find any info on this lathe and am wondering if it is worth getting a replacement motor or just scrapping it off this is the first lathe I have owned and am very new...
