Steve Good (Scroll Saw Workshop) has a sound file that you can download giving the correct sound for a properly tensioned blade. My problem is that I forget to listen to it!

All resolved now, bought one for a newer model as advised by”galvanisednuts”, slightly smaller but I’m up and running, hopefully until the correct one arrives. Thanks for all your help

Hi all I need a new concertina spring for my old multi cut. Ordered from Hegner, they took my money then told me it was out of stock until the end of September. Does anyone have a spare that I could buy, or point me in the right direction to buy one?

Hi Malcolm Retired too and living in Red Lake near Ketley. Mainly messing about making sawdust on my scroll saw.

I use a radiator key for mine, works perfectly and only costs about £1

I’m sure someone must be offended and not amused? What was your very first reaction?

Hi all Does anyone know if it’s possible to too feed a Hegner scroll saw and if so how is it done, I.e. what extras do I need to get to do it? Thank you
