    Timber framing.

    I only buy from B&Q as a last resort, my local yard in Glasgow is MGM timber, always found them helpful even if it was for a stick or two and always cheaper than B&Q and the more you get the better discount. When I did my shed they delivered for free :)

    My late entry, Ball is 2.25" done free hand between centres first time and proud :D beach arrow with purple heart flight and simple pine base. The idea came about looking at a green heart blank on Valentines day after watching some archery on TV.

    Very cheap floor covering

    Have a look at the some basic cord carpet, I picked up some for £3-4. It was easy to fit, clean, comes in a number of colours.

    My entry, Sycamore approx 7"x1.5" done with a 3/8 bowel gouge on a screw chuck finish to 320 grit with Melamine Lacquer on the out side and sanding sealer on the inside.

    Pen making does, anyone make fountain pens?

    I have not made a fountain pen myself yet but there is kits available, I may have to try one soon as I have been asked if I can make one for a birthday present. http://www.pencrafts.co.uk/shop/pen-kit ... 1_101.html Cheaper ones are available, and a lot more expensive.

    I have not tried it myself but the local paintball centre rub the inside of the visor with neat washing up liquid to stop misting up. it does work for that. If you use too much is is very streaky the trick there is a little goes a long way. I do not know if the liquid dries or may stay stick...
