    Boot prints in Felt roof

Get an off cut of the same felt, fold in half and rub together, this will strip the mineral off, catch them in something suitable, you'll obviously need enough to cover the area. I think you can even buy bags of the stuff because this happens a lot when laying felt on sunny days! Anyway once...

    Domestic Vacuum Cleaners

Our Shark, think it's the duo clean, came with an additional small rotating brush attachment. Which is perfect for both stairs and car duties. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk

    Domestic Vacuum Cleaners

Another vote for Shark, their duo clean is utterly brilliant. Restored the pile on the lounge carpet. And it's incredible how it gets every crumb. Battery powered as well no messing about with cables. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk

Replacement spring required - but what to search for?

"Pull spring" or "hook spring" on Google brings up lots of similar style springs but pin pointing exact spec will be difficult. You'll need to work out the weight of the spring, a luggage scale should give you some idea, then it's just dimensional checks. 7" trampoline springs look similar...

    Leyland Trade Paint

I think the quality is really hit and miss. I remember using it 5 or 6 years ago and it was great. Might be a batch thing. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk

    Leyland Trade Paint

Pretty much how it is, some people are acceptable of the results it gives. I painted a freshly plastered ceiling, after it had dried for about a month, with 3 mist coats, followed by 3 top coats of Leyland and it looked grey after, some people couldn't see it, I could. Ended up buying Dulux...

    3d printed 4-Way Clamp

One thing to keep in mind when looking at the cheaper 3d printers is they are often optimised for PLA and 0.4mm nozzles. As such the extruder may struggle with pushing filament through a 0.2mm nozzle, also the hotend may struggle to keep the temperature stable when pushing through more filament...

    Shed design advice needed

I've got a workshop that is 35 years old, two sides just had 2 layers of roofing felt, the underlay kind, nailed to the uprights, 90 degrees to each other and overlapped. The ply sheeting underneath was perfect when I took it off to replace it a couple of years ago. Sent from my SM-G975F using...

    titan workshop vac hose adapters

I've got a 3D printer and have printed a couple of reducers and adapters for my extraction. If you want to give one a go sketch up something or let me know key dimensions and I'll print it for you. Happy to do the first one FOC. I printed one for my Dewalt ROS, it works perfectly. Wall...

    Dust Extraction

I've successfully 3D printed a reducer for a random orbital sander and a boss for my table saw, 120mm flange with 100mm "pipe" section for attaching a silicone 100mm coupler too. If you want to do a quick sketch I could 3D print something for you and pop it in the post foc. Alternatively there...

    Michelin CrossClimate + tyres

Vauxhall Signum, basically a slightly different variant of a Vectra. Check out tyre reviews channel on YouTube, he does a really good comparison of 4wd on summer and front wheel drive on winter. Once I've checked confirmed the tyre size on my wife's car there'll be a set on order for her car...

    Michelin CrossClimate + tyres

I had some cross climate plus fitted on all corners of my front wheel drive car on Friday morning, approximately 8 hours before the snow came, they performed flawlessly, a massively impressive set of tyres in winter conditions. Going down a steep hill just on the brakes completely under control...

    Router plunge springs replacement

I've been in the workshop today and come across the springs, I've had a quick measure and they are 13.8mm diameter, 282mm long uncompressed and the coil wire is 1.3mm in diameter. Let me know if they are of any use. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

    Router plunge springs replacement

I've got a pair of springs from a mof98 that blew it's motor. Could they be an alternative? I can post up some measurements later to compare. I'm happy to post them to you f.o.c if they are of any use. James Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
