    Stupid injuries

    Worked all afternoon in the garden. Tired & but fed up. Finally quit for a break & a brew. Stuck the fork upright in the ground with some force- straight through wellie & foot. A& E. Wounds (2) cleaned & closed. Further puncture wound in left buttock for tetanus shot. Learned!!

    Can you use a single folded piece of leather with the seam on the edge away from the teeth and the fold towards the teeth?

    To my mind there is one major difference between sharpening on a ProEdge and any sort of wheel grinder any that is the shape of the bevel. The ProEdge machined produce a flat bevel while sharpening on a wheel creates a hollow grind where only the edge and the heel are on the same plane. There...

    Cake stand help

    Food safety??? Do cakes come with bare bottoms as it were?? Are you going to need to have a protective (for the cake) layer on top of each platform? Would Perspex or polycarbonate work?
