Best and least messy way to remove surface rust from tools

Evaporust neat is the way to go. You don't pour it away after use either, just pour it back in the container. You can use it time and time again even though it gets discoloured.

Wanted After some laser cut plywood French cleat hooks

Hello Paul, thanks for your kind reply. The chap who made the video about them has offered to send me some, he emailed me a couple of days ago. Thanks again !

Standard, or radial arm pillar drill

Also have a look if Axminster have a sale on. I got one of their radial arm pillar drills fairly cheaply as it was end of line. I'm very happy with it and it's decent quality.

Wanted After some laser cut plywood French cleat hooks

Funny you should say that, I've just watched a video on YouTube last night. Probably the same chap showing the hooks. I'll see if he knows where to get them. He made his own, it's a great idea.

Wanted After some laser cut plywood French cleat hooks

I do, however I know these hooks exist and it would make the reorganising of the shed walls easier and quicker

Wanted After some laser cut plywood French cleat hooks

Hi, it's not the actual cleats I'm after, it's plywood cleat hooks that I can make boxes attached to

Wanted After some laser cut plywood French cleat hooks

I've been looking for some laser cut plywood French cleat hooks, so I can make my own boxes to attach to them. If anyone knows where I can buy some, please post a link or, if someone with a laser cutter makes them? I've looked on Etsy but the only things I can find are computer plans for making...

    Bandsaw upgrade

Hi Moosepig, thanks for your reply. I'm going to rig up an under table dust collection pipe connected to the 4" main pipe. Yandles normally sell the kit but they're out of stock. I've also made my own wheel kit which I find better than the one you can buy for it. The bearing guides replacement...

    Bandsaw upgrade

Hi, thanks for asking. I did make a decision in the end after attending a Yandles bandsaw session. I purchased the Record Power Sabre 350 in their Black Friday 24 hour sale and save a few bob. Mind you, I also ended up buying a Laguna drum sander in the sale. They had a range of Laguna bandsaws...

Pillar drill recommendations (240v, single phase)

I recently purchased an Axminster radial arm pillar drill from their Ebay outlet store that was significantly reduced. I absolutely love it. It also comes with a keyless chuck which is great, as I'm a genius at misplacing chuck keys :)

    Triton MOF001 router - bushings/template guides

Hi, have a look on the Yandles website. I recently purchased a Kreg router plate for my Triton MOF1 at a massively reduced price from them (I think it was about £30). See if they still have any in the sale, best of luck.

Help needed on Band saw setup - Record Power Sabre 350

I've just signed up for the 1 hour Record Power bandsaw workshop with Yandles in November. Here's the link. I dare say they can answer your issues. Record Power Focus Weekend: Bandsaws - Yandles

    Bandsaw upgrade

I've just had a look at the specs; it's not a make I was aware of. Very nice piece of kit. I really can't justify the cost of the single phase one unfortunately, as I need a large drum sander on top of the cost of the bandsaw. Thanks though !
