@Sachakins Have you got this up and running? Was contemplating either the 2 or 3 motor Camvac and wondering if the 3 motor is worth it because of the extendable switch box, but remote controlled switches would be ideal.
I think sharing the selection of tools I use and my thoughts on them could be useful. I keep the manual, invoice and photo of the machine plate in that database so I either need to move those things somewhere else or be happy to share them. Not happy to share the invoice but wondering about the...
I'm considering sharing a database of my tools and I'm wondering whether I should go to lengths to hide the serial numbers. Interested to know what potential issues I may run into if I freely share serial numbers of my tools (specifically the photograph of the sticker/machine plate).
Thanks.
What did you end up doing and how did they turn out?
I'm contemplating this same question now and wondering whether untreated larch might work well. I guess it won't last as long as treated/maintained but thinking along the larch cladding idea. Was thinking to build a door in similar style to...
I think you could well be right. To be fair to the electrician he said could be either 16A or 20A but I was keen for 16A so I could use the same plug for another machine if I move things around. However, it's not that hard to move a socket so I'll go with 20A for the A3 41 and 16A for all the...
To make things more complicated, just spoke with Felder support and was told:
HS950 - 16A MCB
N4400 - 16A or 20A MCB
A3 41 - 20A MCB - will run on 16A but 20A will be more reliable.
Sales rep sent over this screenshot for the A3 41. I noticed the supplied power cable is 4mm2.
Thank you for all the information. I had thought it was to do with startup inrush but wasn't sure if current under load would be higher also.
As I understand it, there's no way of knowing just from the motor power rating but one can make an estimation based on a formula that takes a few...
Hello
I have 3 new machines and I'm wondering if there are any rules of thumb to follow for what the maximum current a motor will draw?
For example I have:
Axminster T-2000CK-200H dust extractor
Motor 1.5kW
Running load 6.5A
Came with a 16A plug and is on a 16A MCB. However the running load is...
I've had a somewhat similar experience. I followed the same Matt Estlea video and applied 2 coats to 4 birch ply desk tops. A few months later they all seem to have water damage where the grain feels a bit raised and the surface is rough. Is that normal for Polyx? I have another birch ply desk...
Well that ought to do it! I was wondering how much difference there is between the two as the size difference isn't huge but it's a big difference in price. Like £800 more for 30cms of length and 5cm of width or something along those lines.
