Hiya, I also had the Rutlands one, also bought when last on offer. It was a solid piece of kit, well engineered. The only thing I regret was not looking for a setup where you could ‘lock’ the unit when you had the bit height set ala Incra/Jessem, other than that worked well. CG

Check out Matt Estlea channel on YTube particularly the installing windows and a bed episode of his van fit out. He uses Rivnuts to fix the bed supports, plus he has an issue with one of the nuts and you see the solution he comes up with. CG

I might be tempted to use a dry pack mix instead of mortar something like webercem grout which can applied in a variety of consistencies and has non shrink properties. Just used a bit with slate under a steel beam. Should be able to find it at your local friendly merchants. CG
