I am looking to pick up a sharpening jig for bench grinder. The two I am looking at are the Tru-grind system and the Robert Sorby 447 Deluxe. I would be interested in peoples thoughts on the two jigs and which you would recommend. Many thanks
Thanks. Sounds like it would make more sense to by a chuck specifically for that side, especially as i plan to turn some large bowls.
Or just use the bowl plate.

I was wondering if anyone might be able to recommend a general purpose chuck for turning bowls and egg cups that would fit my Arundel J4 Senior? I think it has an inboard spindle thread of M30 x 3.5 and an outboard of M25 x 2.5. Can I get a chuck that will fit both threads? Also...
@Jacob @Phil Pascoe I made up an extended centre punch and both centres knocked out reasonably easily. Thanks for the advice. I have nearly finished cleaning up the metal work and will be moving on to the bench soon. Happy to post pictures if anyone is interested?
