Hi Carl, The BS250 can only handle a maximum depth of 120mm (4 3/4") but bear in mind that this max measurement is for plastics and foam. The BS240 will struggle with 3+ inches of wood (depending on the wood) as it just doesn't have the power. I would recommend stepping up to a bigger machine...

Liberon Lubricating Wax is excellent for all metal surfaces. Aswell as planner, bandsaw and other metal tables, it is good for saw blades and general tools. We use it in the showroom to keep machines clean and free from fingerprints and any water contact.

From memory the Ryobi is a 30mm bore size. What size bore is the new blade you have purchaced? I cant see it being bigger than 30mm as this is a UK standard size. Check the bore size on the original blade to make certain. I have reducing bushes in stock. If your not sure give me a call...
