I've downloaded the 01444 manual (thanks again). Looks like the same machine with improvements. I'll contact SIP and ask if parts are generally interchangeable.
Does anyone have a manual for this bandsaw please? Bit old now but still great for my amateur use!

Spent yesterday testing it out and am happy with the saw at this price. It's a large heavy beast but setting up easy and dito for using it. As for fettling:

Been waiting for a couple of plywood sheets to arrive so I can rip them down for a carcase. They're here now so will let you know. This is my first track saw, always used a circular saw and long fence but trashed it hence the Erbauer!
Super! Thanks for all the responses and yes... should have done my homework. After looking for ages, made a snap decision, especially as Screwfix not far away! Will check out Makita and t'others but festool? Only a dream.
