It will be galvanised steel with a primer coat of paint and either top coated with plastisol or it could be stelvitite (laminate style coating) depending on the age/manufacturer.

Cant blame the tiler, down to the plumber for not putting the sink on straight or maybe the floor is out!!!! Problem with trades is they all blame each the one before them, have learnt to do most trades myself for this reason!!

Yep was planning on using stainless steel screws. I am going to get steel frame galved, would it be advisable to paint the face which is in contact with the oak prior to fitting it? Cheers
