Had my lathe for almost two weeks now and when i got it the DRO wasn't working... i didn't think it would be a problem BUT having it right there in front of me every time i use it was a little annoying as i like things to work that should work. An email response from Axminster said the DRO was...

Well... if this one doesn't last i'll certainly take a look at the Katsu router. As for the metal router tables i had one when thy where £15 but for some reason now they've gone way up in price.... but i found trying to adjust the depth of cut was a hassle and the table wasn't very good anyway...

Having a look at getting my first chuck and found this.... Rutlands chuck Being a 3" chuck (although listed dimensions put it at just under 3") sounds fairly small but reading the reviews people have said they turned 8"bowls... i was thinking it's more for a mini lathe but there is no mention...
