Woodturning Fun Day

Hi Everyone,

Every Christmas we have a 'Fun Day' competition at our Woodturning Club here in Bedford.

I have just put a video online of some of the days action and thought you might like to take a look....

10 min time limit, No sandpaper, Everyone pics a number of of a bag and this is there bonus points.

Everyone that has a go on the day is entered into the raffle, and everone takes home a prize....its all for fun!

How many trees were turned on the night ?

Yeah, everyone had a great time!

I think there were around 30 -35 tree's turned on the day!

We usually keep them for the year on display in our shop, then give them to the local lower school for the kids to paint and take home the following year.

I will also be updating the website with the new 2008 Demonstration dates in the next day or two.

The club show day is a chance for club members to show their best work, or the piece they are most proud of since the last show day.
