just trying to combine my cnc with my turning.not as easy as it looks,but getting there.

Now that's a good enhancement of a hand skill produced item, must be very satisfying combining a reasonably free flowing craft skill with a the discipline of computer exactness.
 
Any chance of some WIP?

It would be fascinating to see how its done.

Its cheating of course. You should have to spend hours, tediously slaving by candelight to achieve the same result.

thanks guys,still not got it perfect yet.still trying to get the best way of doing it,the first 1 i did which is the first pic,i turned first then engraved.i just tried doing it with the blank first,then turned it after.will get pics done tomorrow.gus not much to show,but will see what i can do for you.

ok this is the 1 i engraved first then turned,faced the both sides first and put the tenon in.

gus just turned as normal,then used a part turned block to hold the bowl.

all of them are done using my vacume bed.
