Can anyone recommend a quality 1/2 inch bit for surfacing? Mixture of timber and epoxy.

Wealden.

Google or use the site's search engine - this comes up a lot. There are two versions: 3- and 6-wing cutters. I have the 6-wing one and it's great. Others get good results from the 3-wing. I've never been clear about why there are two rather different designs.

Links in the old threads.

I know Wealdon, was wondering if I should try the 6 wing or the bottom trim cutter as it's a bigger diameter

****Ignore the above about diameter - just seen the 6 wing cutter is 52mm so have ordered and will make up a sled for my new Triton MOF router
