old watford router

i know there old these watford routers and i cant imagine any one useing one nowadays.
but i would like some info on the one in the pictures i have.
does anyone know its age?or remember useing them years back?
the thing looks bomb proof,not as loud as i expected and im seriously considering mounting it to a cnc im playing with.
thanks any info.. thoughts appreciated.

haha yes i like it to,im having a nice aly mount made for it the companys listed in peterborough but they never answer the phone theres no website, they advertse as sellers of woodwork machinery..
does anyone know anything about them?other than they used to be called centec.
like to know how old the router is if anyone can help,thanks

Its strange as it has a new cable so i reckon it has been used for a while.

thanks fella you mention your collets broke there is a chap on ebay sells the replacement collets(1/4 and 3/8 and 1/2inch) on ebay as well as replacement bushes if you need any.
can you or anyone tell me if theres any reason why i couldnt rig up a speed control to it?thanks

Thanks for the info on the collets, I will definitely look for them and get some. I was unaware it would take a 1/2" one so thats a bonus!

I plan on making mine in to a portable router table.

As for the speed control, can't help you there. Do you have any more info?

no problem heres the chap with the collets and bushes.
he doesnt seem to know much regarding the various models but said if my router has the large brass nut on the bottom(which it does)then it wont take the half inch collet .
