Lidl 5-in-1 Multi-purpose detector

Bought one of these today,

Sounds too good to be true!

Anybody know if they are any good or should I take it back before I open it?

I expect it will worth what you paid for it.

Dont expect too much from laser level. I've seen some quite expensive ones with 3 mm per metre tolerance

Slightly worrying that the "details" button is inoperative :shock:

I think I might have broken my lidls record of buying junk. Just bought a soldering gun with a reel feed worked by the trigger. It actually DOES feed solder to the tip!!!!!
And its "claimed" to be 60 watt, which is enough to burn wood with the point. 8) 8)

I have one and it's rubbish at detecting. But the sonar distance measuring is useful...

That is good to know, I was hoping the distance measure would work, main reason I got it.

I paid £80 for a Bosch wall scanner which doesn't really work so was not expecting much from the Lidl one!
