Hi All,
not sure this is the right place but here goes.
Have bee looking at getting a stall at the local hospital to sell some bits, they require me to get public liability insurance. Dose anybody have this for things like craft shows, and any general ball park figures on the cost. If its too high I wont be worth me doing it, as its only for some pocket money.

Cheers
Neil

Hi Neil

Membership of the Wasely Hills Craft Guild (which is local to you) costs £22 per annum and includes public liability insurance, even if you're not displaying at one of their craft shows.

I can't remember how much you'd be covered for but it's very substantial. If you're thinking of allowing people into your workshop, though, you would need to have your machines inspected certified annually by a qualified electrician.

Hi Gill,

I only live in Longbridge :) so maybe joining the guild maybe the best idea for me. I will have to contact them and see if they would let me join.

cheers
Neil
