Putting a $3,550 piece of art on ebay just seems daft. Surely if it is worth that much you would be better off trying to sell it through an art dealer.
There are 21 bids on this, it is at $4000 and has not reached the reserve.

That is one ugly lump, very impressive I'm sure but why would anyone want such a thing?

What a waste of some very nice and rare woods; and to finish it with several coats of marine varnish too. Why not pour syrup on it and harden with a hair dryer. Marine varnish is good on the door to my shed but has no place on a piece of indoor furniture
