How about a few appropriate songs for woodworkers ?

Obviously, anything by The Carpenters, Woody Guthrie, Wishbone Ash, The Beech Boys or even the Oakridge Boys.

Elton John - I'm still sanding
Beatles - I saw her sanding there
Philly J Kramer - Grains and floats and planes
If I had a hammer

For those more classically inclined:

Air on a G string (Bark)
The Bandsaw Concerto

We could branch (!) into literature:

Dickens - A tale of two Kitys
Bronte - The tenon of Wildfell Hall

Or even Shakespeare - Gimlet, Prince of Denmark.

I really ought to get out more......................................

For the best/worst pun: first prize, a night out with me. Second prize, two nights out with me.

I ilke BB's joke from a previous thread about Elvis not being dead.

Actually, he runs a burger-van on the lay-by on the A13 near Basildon.

Although, I heard today he was spotted in B&Q he was there to 'return a sander'

Anything by Desmond and the Black and Deckers.

Who's Sorby now?

There'll be blue birds over the white Cliftons of Dover.

A Fein romance.

Ah, Humph would be proud of us.
