How difficult can it be ?

,,how difficult can it be to buy a replacement fuel tank cap for a Draper 26cc hedge trimmer ?,, there appears to be a myriad amount of sizes,, has anyone solved this problem ?

Take it into a dealer or a shed with loads of display models.
Try all the caps until you find one that fits - even if off a different marque.
Get dealer / shed to order it.

It may be easier to get an entire tank to get the cap, though (and if the tank is NLA, order something similar and fabricate a way to fit it). The suggestion above is a good idea if a dealer will order a single cap and can find one that fits.
