Hi
Thanks for accepting me in the UKWorkshop.
Since I retired about five years ago from academic work I have started woodworking. I have made some furniture for our home and summer cottage, like the coat rack, table and corner cabin displayed in the photos. Simple projects for a novice.
From my late father and father-in-law I inherited two planes. I started collecting Stanley planes and the researcher in me woke up. Learning that English Stanley bench planes do not have a type study, like their US cousins, I have started one. I hope that I can provide at least some useful information for plane collectors and other woodworkers. It is good to be in contact with more experienced woodworkers and plane collectors.
Looking forward to interesting discussions.
