D & M Toolshow

Went along to the D & M Toolshow today. It was great to see Nick Gibbs of British Woodworking there and back in action. We had a nice chat.

Nick's not yet fully recovered from his nasty accident but seems well on the way to a full recovery.



Take it easy Nick and don't overdo it.

I went also. Sat down for a bacon butty and coffee, whilst flicking through the special offers catalogue and was joined by a lovely lady and her young child.

Complimented her on her daughter's behaviour - Mum pointed out that 'she' was a he

Asked if her partner had dragged her along. No, she was a self-employed wood turner and was here on her own account

Despite being on a roll of sexist comments the lady was kind enough to bid me farewell .... as I retreated rapidly. (homer)

Good to see Nick back on his feet again.
