Buyin plywood

I bought some plywood the other day and the bloke who served me told the other assistant that I needed "contractors" plywood.

Is there any differance between plywood and contractors plywood??

No, not the stuff builders put on the roof, plywood with a decent finish on the sides.

Odd - if someone had said "contractors grade" to me - I would have assumed they meant sheathing ply.

At best I would assume it meant the finish or the quality of the ply. It'll be interesting if someone comes back with the difference.
