Has anyone else noticed that Axminster have introduced a craft range of machinery, some is available now, but most is due later in the year, most of it seems really well spec'd for the price,

It seems to be just a name change from "Hobby" to "Craft". If you look at the hobby stuff specs you'll find a matching one called craft.

yep, just rebranding.
I have the "craft" Axminster Craft AC37E 1HP Extractor

Exactly the same as the previous one that was shown as "out of stock, but now apparently has been removed from the catalogue.

Another "Axminster improves its machinery" change, when really it's a repaint, new name badge and new model number. Remarkably, the machine underneath looks identical to what you can buy from other suppliers who don't have the expensive retail buildings for 20% cheaper.

Axminsters BIG selling point for me, is they can not be beat on shipping costs. When I try to go elsewhere I often get quotes more than the cost of the machine.

Of course I have no use for the "returns" policy. I have to just fix all the poor chinese workmanship myself.
