Hey everyone,
I recently went on the Shuker guitar building course in the Peak District.
http://www.shukerguitars.co.uk/course.htm
Heres what I came out with:
White ash body, curly maple top, maple and purple heart neck with a maple fingerboard. The stain is alcohol based and the finish is shot with satin PU.
Ive got some progress shots if anyone would be interested in seeing them.
Now instrument #002 is under my belt, Im more confident about building them in less time with fewer mistakes. Im off to San Francisco for three months, but when I get back I'll be getting a new house with garage to fit out as a workshop. Either that or get a bandsaw in the living room.
