Hi All,

is it possible without being a master to create a bullnose effect on the face of a piece of wood?

The hope is to have a 3" thick shelf face have the effect top and bottom and the middle routed out as per my masterpiece of a drawing. The actual shelf will obviously be much deeper

I'm inexperienced with more than edging work with routers and can't seem to find anything that would punch into the wood to create it.

Cheers

Could you make the piece out of 3 separate components. Shape the bullnose on the end of 2 pieces of wood, cut to depth/width, then glue the 3 pieces together as per your drawing
