Hello friends.
I have decided to get a mitre saw, and the DW777 seems to NEARLY fit the bill.
Problem of course is the small blade, which in turn means a max 60mm cut depth. Not usually a problem, since the main job it should do is cross cutting regular stock and sheets.
But for the odd panel mitering job, a 3" cut depth would be nice.
So i wondered if any of you DeWalt 777/707owners would be so kind, as to measure the cut depth one could achive if you install an aux. fence, so bring the workpiece nearer to the middle of the blade?
The DeWalt seems to be the only fairly accurate saw available to non-millionaires hobbyists, without those rods sticking out the back, so you need a 90 cm deep work bench?
