Very impressive, There's about 8 cubic ft of timber there!
Too heavy to nick, and it's bolted down, either dodgy neighbours or expecting a flood.

It looks quite nice, he didn't mention seasoning or kiln drying the wood for the top though so i'd imagine it would have some problems keeping a flat surface. Maybe he just didn't mention that though.

I have always fancied using railway sleepers as a bench top, they are so cheap compared to any other timber in that size. One in the front, one in the back, well between them and you're done, none of that pesky lamination business. Legs could be sleepers as well.

An additional concern would be where to put my feet with a big pipe in the way! Great to see a bit of the process though, especially when it starts as a tree.

(If the answer is those stool like objects, I think he's offset the manliness points.. :roll:
