Thanks Paul - I will buy one then... nice idea to make one.....

Anyone think of anything else I need to buy to get routered up for Easter ?

So far:
DW625EK
Fine height adjuster
Axminster table insert
(MDF for table from local shop or maybe lurking in dad's shed)

Yet to buy:
Dust extractor...
Bits....

So what have I forgotten ?!?!
Cheers
Ed

Not sure where you are buying your router, but before you do, just check that it doesn't come with one - they are not standard but I seem to remember seeing some adverts where some retailers supply the fine height adjuster for no extra cost.

Cheers

Many thanks one and all - the DeWalt router came and I am part way through making a table... Had a few extra surprises with the house i am rennovating/building so bit slow with it all...

Anyway, seems very solid and good heft, good plunge and seems good to me ergonomically. If I wasn't using it in a table I think I would be stealing my dad's lighter 1/4" router (small ancient Bosch jobbie) - it is quite a beast - or maybe I am not used to heavy routers :) (weakling...)

Cheers for all the advice - Ed

Dewalt -I have one and it is very impressive. Also have the Trend T11 which is basically the Dewalt and that is equally good
