Hi, just a quick question for the more experienced (than me, at least :)) folks around here. I have a small 10" Axi bandsaw , aka piece of junk, but with a nice after market blade (from a respected and trusted seller). I found out that the BS preformed better with the blade running slightly...

Don´t know if this is the best sub-forum to ask this, but can anyone recommend me a source for spalted maple (sycamore) or spalted birch? i only need small pieces (around 5 inch diameter). most of the stuff i see on ebay comes from the US and involves the usual shipping costs / customs nuisance...

Thanks for looking, I´ve finally had enough of reshaping/grinding bevels on my Coarse Diamond Stone. It takes quite some time and, to be honest, the stone (which is just 3 years old) seems to be wearing out (i use it to flatten my water stones - maybe that´s it?) and i just don´t find it fun...

any help on this? i´d like to fit one of these into my drum sander. many thanks, Miguel.
