    sectional concrete workshops

I too have one of these sectional concrete garages which came with the house. As others point out condensation is a big issue and they are either really hot or very very cold. I have made mine more habitable by sticking insulation to the walls and celing and then covering the walls with reclamed...

    Welsh loving spoon - WIP

Bryn, You are right with the wax finish, I took your advice and applied 2 coats of Danish oil followed by 2 coats of clear wax. I applied it all with a small paintbrush. Thanks for the comments and advice.

    Welsh loving spoon - WIP

Thanks all for your kind words. This is my 1st attempt at any sort of carving. Most of my previous projects are more biased to the home DIY type stuff. That said I found I like the carving so will have a go at something else in the near future. As for finish I don't know. Bryn recommended...

How is this toy train track made

I can see that I could chop a nice bridge curve out of a lump of suitable wood or even leave it as a big lump to make a hump back type bridge .. but the stumbling point for me was how to do the track grooves. I have a normal router setup with a simple table. So how would the track be routed in...
