Hi Guys, Thank you for the input. I'm sure I read somewhere that one of these machines cuts to 2mm, but now I think I probably got that mixed up with cut depth #-o Good tips on packing it up.

Hi, What is the minimum thickness of wood that you can run through this machine? Edit: What I want is to be able to push through 5 or 6mm and plane down to 3mm Cheers, Paul.

I suppose it would not take long to plane down from 6 to 3mm. On a scroll saw pattern I find that stains can add a bit of character. I actually like this idea of finding some old wood and putting it on the scroll saw. Cheers, Paul.

Thanks Brian for the links. The first link the sheets are under 6 inches. I tried to buy the European Oak boards a few weeks ago but they want more money for shipping than what the wood costs. I'm too tight for that :D Regards Paul.

Hi All, Has anyone got links to a supplier of 3mm wood sheet. I can get Birch ply no problem, but I would like Oak or Walnut or anything that is not ply and I can get a pattern measuring 8 x 8 inch. Look forward to your suggestions. All the best, Paul.

Thank you guys for the info. At least it still runs. I only use the auto setting when I'm on the scroll saw, which is very handy.

That is exactly how it has worked since new for two years. Today was the first time it decided to do things differently.

Hi All, My vac turns on when switched to auto and no tool attached. When I plug a tool into the vac and turn the knob to auto the vac starts up straight away. Any help on this would be great. Regards Paul.
