Quick one hopefully!
Concreted some slabs in on end this afternoon as a fascia to a shed base.
Its give rain all night and the concrete has just started going off. The concrete is going to be covered with soil once cured.
Is it best to cover it now to give the trench from flooding...

Is there any chance it could be done like that for a reason, so whilst pushing the piece into the saw it maintains a compressive force on the piece to help pieces not jumping up???

go for deep frame fixing and skew them in....... like a dovetail...... against the way they would want to pull out ie point the drill upwards for the ipper holes....... then you trying to shear alot more block away if they were to pull out.... not conventional but would work imho
