    Hi All, Quick one hopefully! Concreted some slabs in on end this afternoon as a fascia to a shed base. Its give rain all night and the concrete has just started going off. The concrete is going to be covered with soil once cured. Is it best to cover it now to give the trench from flooding...

    They look great........ maybe if you cut up to a scribe line with the router or table saw it would cut the top fibres and reduce the bearding effect?

    don't use a hammer use an adjustable spanner to tweak it...... put something on the faces but 4mm already folded would be easy to tweak.

    go for deep frame fixing and skew them in....... like a dovetail...... against the way they would want to pull out ie point the drill upwards for the ipper holes....... then you trying to shear alot more block away if they were to pull out.... not conventional but would work imho
