    Looking better now, I've left the lion head door knocker off...it reminded me of my home team Aston Villa :( :( I couldn't get some of the grey wood to clean up, but I think it adds to the door.

    Thanks for all the posts so far.... On the night.... 21.58. speed approx 40mph...(speed limit 40mph) Driving straight, lights on, did not flash the lights at her. Maybe 25ft away from junction she decided to pull out into my path.....applied brakes but not much I could do....car ended up...

    ED65, I've taken all the bolts out..these will be cleaned with emery cloth same as the hinges. Steve

    Hi, any idea how to bring this old oak door back to life again..for example should I use varnish or oil after sanding .... 1920's how in a conservation area so I need to keep the door Any help would be great Steve

    Portable crazy golf course frame

    Hi, I'm making a portable crazy golf course & need some advice on what sort of frame to make that will be suitable for both indoor/outdoor use & also grass/concrete.... frame will be 6ft long x 3ft wide. Need help deciding which is the best timber so it wont twist, also what joints to choose...
