I don't know of anywhere for training. There is a video on youtube which I think is good which explains the basics - If you haven't got a power feed just make sure you use sacrificial fences etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4Kqxl1P3EY
I got a spindle moulder a good few years ago now and at first it was daunting but I had lots of help from people on here and the other forum.
As long as you check the machine, make sure you are using a modern safe block (euro block or whitehall block with locator pins) , make sure the block is fixed down properly , make sure you have and sacrificial fences etc and don't stick your hands in it you should be fine.
