Help with Wadkin pattern makers vices

Hi my name is Sven. i was given 2 wadkin pattern makers vice i want to refurbish them. Any ideas on how todo this as i have never refurbished a vice this big or anything like them before. Any tips or advice? They do work. I will be taking pics as i refurbish them. Thanks

Hi Sven - nice haul with the vices - not sure how I missed this thread!

There’s limited info online- but get the moving bits moving and then mount them to a bench heavy enough to not tip when the jaw is fully open!
