Reading another thread made me wonder - has anyone has tried making a zero clearence insert to fit the Ryobi ETS1825 table saw, and was it successful?

No, but if the saw has a throat plate, then I see no reason why it would not be possible to make a ZCI. What are your concerns about doing it?

Yes I have and yes it was/is successful.

I used plywood rebated to fit the flange so a flush plate was achieved. Then slowly raided the blade to cut through for zero tolerance.

Can anyone advise how the connect to the lower dust extraction port? I cannot find a reducer down to the 63mm OD . Cobbled a sleeve held on with cable ties bit difficult to get it to stay in place - about 5 minutes at best.
