The green and wetter end of the M4.
Had the inlaws visiting this weekend so had to find something to do in the shed
Again had a spot of wood blindness and couldnt think of anything to make  , so grabbed a bit of small yew branch, roughed it out and had a bit of skew practice. This resulted in three small eggs, :? so then I thought I'd have a go at making a nest to put them in (well you do dont you?). This is the result from a slightly wider bit of branch and tried to keep the NE.

I think its quite cute but feel free to disagree. :)

Very nice Nev, you kept the bark on very nicely.

Of course, if the in laws really annoy you, you could suggest they go suck your yew eggs. Be interested to know if the warnings are true

Lovely. I like it. I need some hollowing practice, so may have another bash at a ne bowl with some of the cherry I pruned back in March. I want to try the microwave drying method as well so this could be an opporchancity.
