Yew hollow form with the shakes

Fresh of the lathe this morning a Yew hollow form there are so many shakes in it bits were flying every were as I was turning it used plenty of supper glue so it ended up being 6" wide x 4 1/2" tall finished with 2 coats sanding sealer 1 coat of friction polish and woodturners stick

I love it. I have a goodly sized chunk of yew in the garage waiting to be attacked. Really looking forward to getting stuck in to it
